Thomas Matthew Griffith was born September 21, 1922 in Graceville, Minnesota Big Stone County, and died May 2, 1988 in Rochester, Minnesota. He married Deloris Mae Oletzke November 27, 1948 in Holy Rosary Church, Graceville, Minnesota.  She was born March 3, 1926 in Browns Valley, Minnesota.

Notes for Thomas Matthew Griffith:

Tom served with the US Navy during WWII. He also played the Trumped and played Taps for all the occasions in Graceville. He ran the Griffith Hardware after his father became ill from the strokes he suffered. Tom died while undergoing treatment at Rochester Medical Center for his Arthritis.

After Tom became ill, Deloris became more active in helping him run the Hardware store. After his death she kept it going for many years. She is semi retired and still helps her daughter when needed.
